Family Vacation days 1-4

It’s been three years since we enjoyed a week with Ray’s family during warm weather.  When J & M decided to make the trip up from GA during the summer, we were thrilled to begin making plans.  We arrived in WI on Friday night, the others arrived late Saturday, and the fun hasn’t stopped.  The kids are having so much fun with their cousins, and we are enjoying a chance to catch up with J & M without the added stress of holiday activities.  Thus far we have…

  • heard countless gigglesIMG_1062
  • worshipped together at Spring Creek Church
  • called poison control after E took some of M’s thyroid meds—she’s fine
  • spent an afternoon with G’ma B.IMG_1084
  • gone sailing on the Denis Sullivan IMG_1193

  • consumed at least three boxes of cereal and two gallons of milk
  • gone grocery shopping 3 times
  • wished that the children would adjust to central time so that their normal waking hour of 7 isn’t 6 here
  • watched two episodes of Horatio Hornblower
  • rejoiced with the news of a niece or nephew coming in February!
