Well, maybe not healthy, but certainly healthier…I’d post a picture, but they are all gone! These come out soft, chewy, and not nearly as greasy as the recipe I had been using. You could add nuts if you wanted.
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1 t baking soda
- 1/2 t baking powder
- 1 t salt
- 1/2 cup butter softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 t vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
- 1 12 oz package semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 375
- Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a small bowl
- Beat butter, sugars, and vanilla until creamy
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each.
- Add yogurt
- Gradually beat in flour mixture
- Stir in chocolate
- Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown
- Cool (these are best the next day, but the gooey, right-out-of-the-oven ones aren’t so bad either!)
Makes 5-6 dozen depending on how rounded your tablespoons are!
